COMING IN 2009, AdECN will offer direct integration with members’ existing technology enabling them to seamlessly extend their own expertise, technology, and proprietary capabilities across a single, more expansive market. Key benefits of this new "Federated" offering are: the ability to optimize on a per impression basis, and the ability to dynamically generate a bid for every impression.
A private pilot program of the Federated System will launch in 2009 with leading industry players and technology innovators. The broader public launch of the Federated System is planned for later in 2009.
Hosted System
The Hosted System allows members access to the AdECN Exchange through the AdECN branded user interface. The interface enables members to provision publishers and advertisers into the system and create a multitude of targeting strategies and specify their bids in advance. They also have control over where ads run and what ads run on given content. The launch of Hosted 2.0 will bring added functionality and infinite scalability to a bolstered system.
Regardless of how a member plugs into the AdECN Exchange, via Hosted System or the Federated System, each member is accessing the same single, central marketplace where every single impression is auctioned off in real-time to all members.
